Pivovar Zhůřák is a small, independent craft brewery founded in 2013, located in the village of Zhůř—about 25 km south of Plzeň. We brew on a 250-liter brewhouse with five fermentation tanks, focusing on bold, top-fermented styles like IPAs, NEIPAs, Pale Ales, and other modern beers—a flavorful alternative to the traditional Czech lagers of the region.
Our beers are mostly kegged and sent out to a handful of great bars in the Plzeň and Prague regions. Bottles, which originally started as a holiday tradition, have now become a more regular part of our offering.
In the summer, our beer terrace is open every Friday and Saturday—swing by for a pint and soak in the countryside atmosphere. We also sell beer in PET bottles year-round, directly from the brewery.
